About UsWe are the local chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) located in the Northeastern Illinois (NEIL) suburbs of Chicago. Our Chapter was founded in 1982, and we currently have 303 members. This year we will be covering a great variety of safety topics (see the Schedule). The meetings are a great opportunity for networking and to keep up to date on current safety topics! After the chapter meeting there will be an Executive Board meeting which is always open to members, come and bring your ideas for future meetings! Joint ASSE NEIL and Three Rivers Chapter Volunteerism - Northern IL Food Bank
On December, 14, 2012 both the NEIL and Three River Chapters of ASSE raised $2000 for the Northern IL Food Bank and provided 54 people (man/woman) hours of volunteerism. There was also over 100 pounds of food donated by those who attended. Thanks to all who donated and participated for this worthy cause.
